UNAMID announces new air strikes by government forces.

UNAMID announced new airstrikes by the Sudanese forces on a village near Souq Khamis on monday afternoon. In its daily media brief the envoy said that UNAMID forces stationed in Kuma are on their way to the village to gather information on the potential losses and number of newly displaced people. UNAMID also announced that its trip to Shangil Tobayi and Fanka market in East Jebel and neighboring areas in North Darfur has been suspended until further notice due to government restrains. In South Darfur, the restrains of the government on the movement of relief organizations led to the cancelling of a number of trips of humanitarian relief agencies to those affected in South Darfur.
