General Sadiq Ismail al Nur, Secretary-General of the Umma Party survived an armed attack by an unknown group ten kilometres from Jemeiza Legarow, South of Kass (South Darfur).

General Sadiq Ismail al Nur, Secretary-General of the Umma Party survived an armed attack by an unknown group ten kilometres from Jemeiza Legarow, South of Kass (South Darfur). Mahyedin Hamza al Riheid and Alsadig Abdul Mukaram were injured in the incident during the electoral campaign in the area. Mohamed Abdullah Abdelsalam, secretary of the Umma Party in South Darfur told Radio Dabanga that four unknown armed persons ambushed the car of Sadiq on its way to Amlabassa. They took all mobile phones after firing bullets at the cars.
