Two Sudanese pastors held in Khartoum
Security forces in Khartoum detained two Sudanese pastors on Friday.
Rev. Kuwa Shemaal and Rev. Hassan Abdelrahim, both pastors of the Sudanese Church of Christ in Khartoum, were taken from their homes by security agents, their relatives said in a statement.
The security officers did not provide them with the reasons for the detention, nor where they have been taken.

Abdelrahim is a moderator in the Sudanese Church of Christ, while Shemaal is Head of Missions, Radio Tamazuj reported on Saturday..
Their relatives are asking the international community of churches to put pressure on the Sudanese government to release the two men.
Earlier this year, two South Sudanese preachers were detained and charged with capital offences. They were released after nearly eight months in prison, and were able to return to their home country in August.
