Two policemen killed, three injured in attack on North Darfur station

Two policemen are reported to have been killed and three more injured in an attack on a police station in Saraf Omra locality, North Darfur, on Monday. Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that a group of “pro-government militiamen” in a Land Cruiser launched an attack on the police station at about 7pm. Police Sergeant Ismail Ali and another unnamed policeman died, while Adam Suleiman, Hassan Karkara, and a third colleague were injured. The Commisioner of Saraf Omra, Kamal Al Din Yehia Khalil confirmed the attack via Sudan News Agency (SUNA).
