Two murders reported west of Shangil Tobaya

Two people were killed west of Shangil Tobaya last Friday, including a man aged approximately 70 years. The killers are gunmen believed to belong to pro-government militia deployed in the area. The bodies of both men were found in the open. About the same time, militia based in Shangil Tobaya seized some shops and disallowed others from opening. Witnesses said that people trying to leave for El Fasher or Nyala are confiscated of their belongings before departure.
