A listener told Radio Dabanga that five gunmen, wearing military uniforms, ambushed a Land Cruiser carrying goods and passengers in the area of Donki on Thursday morning. Their gunfire at the moving vehicle killed Adam Mohamed Mousa and El Safi Jaffar Ali on the spot. Four others were injured. The attackers robbed the passengers of their properties and the goods, and fled.
A displaced woman from Otash camp in Nyala locality resisted a rape attempt by four gunmen when she was collecting firewood east of Otash, in Sigaira, on Tuesday. A Sheikh in the camp told this station that Tamor Ahmed managed to resist the men, but when she did, they cut off her hand with a knife.
In another incident, a gunman attacked Hawa Adimo in her home in Otash Centre Ten. When she resisted the rape, he stabbed her with a knife in her hand and back, and then fled.
