Two killed by lightning in Darfur’s Jebel Marra
Two herders died, and another was wounded when they were struck by lightning in East Jebel Marra on Thursday. A number of their cows died, too.
A shepherd from the area told Radio Dabanga that the lightning struck near Turba, 10km south of Dobo El Omda, during heavy rainfall on Thursday night.
The lightning was intense, he said. Two of the herders did not survive it, while the third was critically injured.
