Two kidnapped in North Darfur
On Tuesday, militiamen abducted two men in Tawila locality in North Darfur.
A relative of one of the victims told Radio Dabanga that at 8 am on the second day of the Muslim Feast of the Sacrifice, Eid El Adha, a group of militiamen riding camels attacked Ahmed Ibrahim Nugud (35) and Yagoub Juma Adam (27) in the area of Dubbo El Omda.
The two men were riding donkeys on their way to collect straw, he explained. The source could not say why they were kidnapped.
The source said that the families of the victims have reported the incident to the garrison of Katur, but “no one intervened so far”.
