A witness told Radio Dabanga that armed men of the Abbala tribe in military uniforms, mounted on six camels, entered the camp under the pretext of searching for goats. “They kidnapped Saber Haroun Adam (24) and Mohammed Osman (31) at gunpoint and took them to an unknown destination.
The witness said that the militiamen have demanded a ransom of SDG2.5 million ($400,000)
The relatives of the kidnapped explained that they reported the incident to the police and Unamid.
