Two abducted by RSF in North Darfur
Elements of a Sudanese paramilitary force abducted two shepherds in the area between Shangil Tobaya and Tabit in El Fasher locality, North Darfur, on Friday. Residents in the area told Radio Dabanga that the kidnapping occurred near Tinkarara. Abdel Nasser Jacob (25 years) and Adam Hari Musa (21 years) had gathered there with their cattle at midday. They were taken by members of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) which were coming from Shangil Tobaya. The witnesses reported that the RSF, driving in about 75 Land Cruisers, was heading to El Fasher city. On Thursday, East Jebel Marra residents reported that hundreds of lorries and tanks filled with fuel were on their way from El Fasher to Nyala, and were guarded by the RSF and the Central Reserve Forces (known as Abu Tira). “The RSF have spread north, south, and west of Tangara, which is located 15-20 km south of Tabit in El Fasher locality.” (File photo Radio Dabanga)
