Tribal reconciliation talks begin in Sudan
Sudan’s First Vice- President Bakri Hassan Saleh promised to implement the decisions of the reconciliation between the Rizeigat and Ma’aliya tribes which started in Merowe in the country’s North State on Tuesday.
All members of the reconciliation committee were sworn-in before First Vice-President. They pledged to reconcile in neutrality and impartiality with each other, do justice to all parties and act to bring the parties back to the social relations of the past.

Omda Jibril of the Salamat tribe appealed to the Presidency of the Republic to speed-up holding a similar reconciliation conference between the Taisha and Salamat tribes as quickly as possible.
