Three policemen killed in attack by militiamen, South Darfur

During an attack by militiamen on the Shangi police station, Bielel locality, South Darfur, on Thursday morning, three policemen were reportedly killed. Their bodies were transferred to Bielel town and buried there, after which residents of the town, including students of basic and secondary schools, staged a demonstration denouncing the insecurity in the area.  The demonstration led to the closure of the entire market of Bielel on Thursday.
