Three killed in air raid in Darfur’s East Jebel Marra
Three herders were killed in an air raid by an Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force in East Jebel Marra on Sunday.
A relative of the deceased told Radio Dabanga that herders Abdelmunim Eisa Adam, Abakar Haroun Yahya, and Nura Suleiman were hit by a bomb, while they were grazing their livestock in the area north of Fanga on Sunday afternoon.

A relative of the deceased told Radio Dabanga that Abdelmunim Eisa Adam, Abakar Haroun Yahya, and Nura Suleiman were hit by a bomb, while they were grazing their livestock in the area north of Fanga on Sunday afternoon.
“They were killed instantly. Seven sheep and three donkeys and camels were fatally hit too.”
He called upon the Sudanese government to refrain from bombing East Jebel Marra, and urged the UN and the international community to “immediately intervene to protect civilians in the area, and pressure the government to stop the aerial bombardments”.
