Three fire incidents reported in Central Darfur camps
Sixteen houses were destroyed by fire in three different incidents at Garsila’s Central Darfur camps last week. On Wednesday, three houses were burned down in Jeddah camp and another two in Jebelain camp in a separate incident. A Jeddah sheikh informed Radio Dabanga the camp was again on flames on Friday. He said 10 houses, which occupied a whole block, were destoyed. The sheikh does not know what caused the fire and urged authorities and aid agencies to provide shelter, food and blankets to the homeless.Radio Dabanga file photo
