Three dead, many injured in attacks in Darfur’s Jebel Marra
Two people died and three others, including a child and an Imam, were injured in a militia attack on the Kerney area north of Jebel Marra on Wednesday.

A witness told Radio Dabanga that Noah Ahmad Abdullah and an as yet unnamed woman were killed by “militiamen riding camels and horses”.
He said the injured were taken to the Unamid hospital at Sortoni.
He added that the gunmen made off with all the money, property and livestock.
Abu Zeid project
On Thursday at the Abu Zeid project in eastern Jebel Marra, militiamen shot and killed Omar Yagoub Ishag and stole 45 cows from him.
In a third incident, militiamen riding camels and horses attacked a number of herders at Martala, east of Fanga, and severely injured a number of them, including a woman. They stole dozens of livestock, taking them towards El Malam in South Darfur.
Kabkabiya
For more than a week, citizens of Kabkabiya locality have been living in terror caused by militiamen roaming the market and districts, and firing in the air.
Residents called on the authorities to prevent the militiamen from roaming the districts with their weapons and vehicles.
