Three children killed in North Darfur air raid
Three children and dozens of cattle were reportedly killed during bombardments by an Antonov aircraft on rural areas nearby Korma, North Darfur, on Sunday. Eyewitnesses told Radio Dabanga that three children burned to death when the aircraft dropped bombs on the farmlands near Ammar Jadid where the children sheltered.The bombing ignited a fire causing the death of Adam Bakhit Omar (7), Shamseldin Harun (12) and Umm Al Kheir Eisa Salih (6). Witnesses reported that on Sunday the areas of Sirafna, Keila, Ammar Jadid and Deibli were shelled. They also said that on the same day there were aerial bombardments on the area of Katur, but until now no reports of casualties have reached Radio Dabanga.The witnesses added that an aircraft circled the area, without shelling, until noon on Monday.
