Tension between herders and farmers near El Fasher

Farmers in the Golo valley near El Fasher complained of the herding of camels onto farmland over the past few days. The farmers are unable to stop the herders who threatened to shoot them. A farmer told Radio Dabanga from Wadi Golo that he had informed the government and the authorities about this, but the government did not do anything. He noted that he went himself to guard his ranch and appealed to the owners of the camels not to enter his land.
