Sudan security torture 4 students who joined protests in Abu Shouk
Four citizens, including three students (two still in primary schools) were tortured and transferred to Shalla prison in El Fasher on Monday. They had been arrested on Thursday during the protests of the displaced people against the government in camp Abu Shouk.

They had been arrested on Thursday during the protests of the displaced people against the government in camp Abu Shouk. Sources told Radio Dabanga that the transferred prisoners were tortured by the security bureau in El Fasher before they were transferred to the police and cases were opened against on charges of ‘crimes against the nation’. Based on the charges, they were transferred to Shalla prison in Elfasher.
The sources also mentioned that those arrested include Elham Yusuf Mohammed Abdul Majid who was transferred to the women’s prison in Khair Khanqa in Elfasher and that that students who were transferred to Shalla were Abdul Razig Issa Adam Idriss, a high-school student, Osman Adam Yagoub and Izz Eldin Mohammed Abakr, two primary-school students and Farah Eldin Adam Ishaq, a graduate from Elfasher University, faculty of education. The sources also revealed the Abeid Tibin Diya Elnour, who was arrested from Elsalam camp, was still detained by the security bureau in El Fasher.
