Sudan Revolutionary Front delegation starts European tour
A senior delegation of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) has arrived in France to begin a tour of several European countries. The intention of the delegation, headed by Malik Agar, chairman of the SRF, is to explain the situation in Sudan. “The aim of the tour is to explain the vision of the SRF for solving the problems of Sudan, with a focus on the humanitarian situation and the search for a peaceful solution. We also want to discuss the scenarios after the regime has changed,” Agar told Radio Dabanga. He said he will propose SRF plans and programmes, and hopes to receive feedback from the European countries. Agar emphasised to the French government that the SRF wants a comprehensive solution for Sudan, not discussions about partial agreements on the separate conflicts challenging Sudan. He repeated the desire of SRF to remove the government of President Omar Al Bashir. In addition to Malik Agar, the delegation includes Abdelwahid El Nur of SLM-AW, Minni Arco Minawi of SLM-MM, Jibril Ibrahim of the Justice and Equality Movement, El Tom Haju of the Democratic Unionist Party, Nasreldin El Hadi El Mahdi of the National Umma Party and Yassir Arman, the Foreign Affairs Secretary of the SRF. After France, the delegation will visit Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.File photo: SRF Chairman Malik Agar
