Sudan justice minister sends investigation team to Tabara massacre site

The Minister of Justice announced that a team from the ministry next Monday will visit Tabara in North Darfur State to follow up on the claims and legal proceedings that began after the Ramadan massacre of dozens in the village market. The investigation team aims to bring perpetrators to justice as soon as possible. The minister described the massacre at Tabara as large and unfortunate and said it claimed the lives of innocent citizens. The minister promised that public authorities will do as much as possible to ensure the prosecution of the perpetrators of the incident regardless of their status.
