Sudan hospital interns strike for improved workspace

The interns of the hospital Kosti in White Nile state have started a strike against the non-response of the hospital to their demands. They desire an improved working environment.

Doctors, on the other hand, considered that the lack of oxygen and a shortage of most live-saving drugs, x-rays and ultrasound services at night are a “disregard for the lives of citizens”.

The open strike against the non-response of the hospital management started on Thursday. The interns also demand the provision of the life-saving necessities.
