Sudan Air Force continues bombing East Jebel Marra
On Sunday afternoon, an Antonov of the Sudan Air Force bombed the area of El Aradeib El Ashara in East Jebel Marra. No casualties were reported.
Fleeing villagers told Radio Dabanga that the Antonov dropped a number of barrel bombs in the area at about 2 pm. The explosions ignited a number of farmlands and pastures.
The Sudan Air Force makes use of old Antonov transport aircraft to bombard areas in Darfur. The barrel bombs are simply rolled out of the cargo hatch, and are thus far from accurate.
