SRF tell US envoy ruling party must be overthrown

The head of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) and Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) head of foreign relations, Jibril Ibrahim has spoken to the US envoy to Darfur Dan Smith about the humanitarian situation in the camps and needs of displaced persons. JEM’s official spokesman Jibril Adam Bilal told Radio Dabanga that the conversation also included the Front’s objectives and terms. Ibrahim told Smith that the SRF will have sectors to cover all components of Sudanese society, across the political and geographic spectrum without excluding a single group. He also told the US envoy that the Front will lead meaningful dialogue with all Sudanese political forces to enable all groups to work together under a broad front. Bilal said Ibrahim also assured Smith the Front will work to overthrow the regime in Khartoum by all means available, and will be an alternative force for rule in Sudan after the demise of the ruling National Congress Party.
