Peace negotiations between Khartoum and the SPLM-N on the Two Areas (South Kordofan and Blue Nile states) under auspices of the African Union resumed in Addis Ababa in November. Three days after its start, however, the tenth round of negotiations was suspended as both parties reached a deadlock on the tracks of humanitarian aid deliveries.
