SPLM-N: 22 army personnel killed

He also claimed capturing modern tanks, loaded Dushka guns, a large number of military weapons, ammunition and fuel. He added that this has ensured the group better ability to control areas of Blue Nile and South Kordofan.Radio Dabanga could contact the Sudanese armed forces for a response to SPLM-N’s claim.The fighting between government forces and Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA), the armed wing of the SPLM-N, began in South Kordofan in June this year. The fighting in Blue Nile broke out on September 1.
