South Darfur farmer: problems from nomads and lack of seed

Farmers complained about the lack of stability in South Darfur, as well as lack of seed that the government had promised to provide. A farmer in South Darfur told Radio Dabanga that security conditions are poor, with gunmen attacking farmers. He added that pastoralists are not abiding by the migration routes that have been identified for them, but instead they take their livestock onto farms. He said that the government has not provided seed, and the talk about the provision of seed has been incorrect.
