Tensions have risen in Ed Daein city after three militiamen shot a soldier dead.
Sudanese army soldier Assad Omar Hamed Rmaal was shot in Dlaba market in the city in broad daylight in Sunday, a source told Radio Dabanga.

The dead man's family have refused all means of mediation to settle the issue, demanding the perpetrators be charged and brought to justice.
The source said the alleged perpetrators fled to Nyala, capital of South Darfur.
