SLM-MM member shot wounded near Khartoum home of ex-rebel chief
Al Tayeb Abdel Karim Jiddeh, a member of the Sudan Liberation Movement faction of Minni Arkoi Minawi (SLM-MM), was wounded on Tuesday in a shooting in Khartoum. He took two bullets in his left thigh after leaving the iftar meal at Minawi’s house, on a main street in Khartoum. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have arrested five suspects, while two others disappeared. One aggressor who turned himself in to the police after the incident informed Radio Dabanga that the wounded person belongs to the SLM-MM.
