Six die in raid on North Darfur village
Six people were shot dead in an attack by militiamen on Shagar Gei village in Kutum locality, North Darfur, today.
“At about 10 am, dozens of government-backed militiamen stormed the village, north of Kutum town,” a listener from the area told Dabanga.
“They fired at the villagers, killing Idris Adam Khater, Jamal Hamed Adoma, Babiker Adam Sakouta, Yousuf Omar, Bahar Azu, and the little girl. Siddig Adam Sakouta and Babiker Adam Khater sustained injuries.”

The attackers then plundered the village and took more than a thousand head of livestock,” he said.
‘Towards the north’
Residents of Kutum town reported to Dabanga that a militia convoy of about 120 vehicles and gunmen on horses and camels left Damra El Guba today, moving towards the north, in the direction of Ein Siro, Amarei, Hashaba, and Furugat.
