Shelling continues in South Kordofan and Blue Nile state
Seven people have been killed and eight injured during air strikes in Al Buram locality in South Kordofan on Monday afternoon. The source said the Sudanese air force launched air strikes on the market and village, destroying five houses. The victims reported killed were Mohammed Abdullah Tombe, Abdullah Tuti Teya, Abdullah Kafi Teya, Yoya Ibrahim Noon, Hassan Kafi El Yas, idris Shafi and one eight year old girl named as Amouna Dahabiya. However Saad Allah the Commissioner of the western sector in Blue Nile, said there were actually 50,000 refugees sleeping outside under trees, after three weeks of hunger. He said more people are fleeing but becoming stuck in forest areas eight kilometers away from Upper Nile, whilst waiting for buses to carry them across to the camps.
