Last month at least 100 were killed and 11 villages were burnt in clashes between the two Arab tribes. One of Sa’ada said today that a group of 36 Sa’ada were going from El Qardud toward the shelter of relatives in Kabkabiya when they stopped for water at a place called Hagar Al Rotrot in the area of Gorni. He said that they were attacked and are now helpless. There was also a separate group of eight Rizeigat who were traveling with the Sa’ada to help them with transportation. The source said that this group of Rizeigat have long lived among the Sa’ada and intermarried with them. Three of these eight were injured including one who is now in a dangerously bad condition.
