Security arrest women in suspected liquor-making operation
Security authorities on Monday morning cordoned off a city block in Khartoum North and arrested about 60 women and 5 men. A witness told Radio Dabanga that the arrests followed a raid by an armed group on Sunday night on one of the houses of the district where women are believed to be working in the black-market liquor industry. The people in the group’s house were arrested.
