Secondary school teachers strike in North Darfur’s El Fasher
The strike by secondary school teachers in El Fasher locality, North Darfur, entered its second day today. The teachers embarked on a strike in protest against salary payment arrears, and the non-application of bonuses and other dues, a secondary school teacher reported to Radio Dabanga from El Fasher today (Monday). “Before the strike, we had formed a committee to demand our rights. The committee addressed the responsible authorities about the arrears and the bonuses, to no avail.
