Relatives demand release of northern Sudan, Kordofan detainees
The families of nine detainees of El Hafab village, in northern Sudan’s Berber locality, demand the immediate release of their relatives. The security forces had detained the villagers during a protest against the decision of the local authorities to construct a flood drainage system leading through El Hafab. In En Nahud, West Kordofan, the relatives of detainee Ibrahim Ahmed Salim called for his immediate release. The family of Adam Mohamed Amin in Kadugli, capital of South Kordofan, demand his release from Kober prison in Khartoum North.
