Rebels resume shelling Kadugli
The Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) has reportedly shelled the city of Kadugli at approximately 5 o’clock on Wednesday evening, November 21, sources told Radio Dabanga. Arno Ngutulu Lodi, official spokesman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), told Radio Dabanga that the movement fired around eight shells at the city of Kadugli, targeting government sites. No casualties have been reported. Lodi explained to Radio Dabanga that the shelling was in retaliation for the bombing of Kauda and Labo on Wednesday morning by the Sudan Air Forces, in which citizen Suleiman Koko was allegedly killed and his home was destroyed. The spokesman stated that the SPLM-N, integrated in the SRF, will continue targeting government sites in Kadugli, as long as the National Congress Party continues to bomb the Nuba Mountains, he added to Radio Dabanga from the field.
