Rapists steal North Darfur woman’s sheep

A woman was gang-raped, allegedly by elements of a government-backed militia, in North Darfur on Friday. The rapists then stole her sheep.

A witness told Radio Dabanga that three militiamen attacked the woman who was herding her livestock near the village of Zagalona, 15 kilometres west of Zamzam camp in El Fasher, capital of North Darfur.

“The men raped her alternately and then made off with 15 sheep.” He said the incident was reported to the police.
