About 75 camels and cows were fatally hit,” one of the witnesses told Radio Dabanga. “On Tuesday, areas in the vicinity of Landa village, near Shangil Tobaya, were bombed, killing an unknown number of livestock.” The witnesses noted that the bombardments most probably took place to protect a convoy of 15 military trucks and 25 fuel tankers, en route from El Fasher, capital of North Darfur, to South Darfur’s capital of Nyala.
