Preparations start for Darfur Consultative Dialogue
The Sudanese government has taken the first steps for the implementation of the planned Darfur-Darfur dialogue.
First Vice-President, Lt. Col. Bakri Hassan Saleh, told the press in Khartoum on Sunday that the Presidency directed the provision of the required funding for the Darfur internal consultative dialogue process.

He expressed his country’s keenness to facilitate the dialogue, which, he said, will enhance the peace process and stability in the western region.
The chairman of the Darfur Consultative Dialogue Committee, Siddig Wada, said that the committee’s efforts to broaden participation in the dialogue have been successful.
