A resident named Ismail Ahmed said that the electricity is supplied to the city’s north or south every other day but not until 11:00 at night, which is too late for people to make use of it. Mohamed Abdullah, a source speaking from the nearby Abu Shouk camp in North Darfur, said that the humanitarian situation is poor. He mentioned deficiencies in food, security conditions, and drinking water.
