Politicians send memo to S. Darfur governor about lawlessness

Political forces in South Darfur State sent a memorandum to Governor Abdel Hamid Musa Kasha about the state of lawlessness and tribal conflict north of Nyala between the Sa’ada and Rizeigat tribes. The memo pointed to incidents of looting, murder, car theft, and robbery of shops of individuals and organizations operating within the state capital. The source added that the memorandum also touched on the difficult living conditions faced by inhabitants of the state.

The source pointed out that the politicians requested a meeting with the governor to discuss the memorandum.
