A government-backed polio eradication campaign which is meant to target over 600,000 children under the age of five is scheduled to begin in North, South and West Darfur on Tuesday.Hibashiya Omar Younis, representative of creating health awareness in Darfur told Radio Dabanga, “The campaign aims to reduce child mortality rates in the states of South and North and West Darfur. All parents should get their children vaccinated during the campaign, which starts on Tuesday and lasts for three days.”
