Police storm University of Zalingei and arrest some students

Police stormed the University of Zalingei yesterday and arrested a number of students. They have opened cases against the students for belonging to the armed opposition movements. As of yesterday the security were reported still to be within the premises of the university. According to a source in Zalingei, one of the detainees was later released. He had been beaten by one of the elements of the security at the prison. Another source pointed out that the number of students arrested was not yet known because they are being held in different unknown locations.
