The Sudanese government said that it does not rule out that Israeli aircraft bombed a vehicle near the airport in Port Sudan. The official spokesperson of the police, Lieutenant General Ahmed Imam Tohamy, told Radio Dabanga that until yesterday they could not identify the two people who were inside the vehicle because of the degree of the burning of their bodies, but stressed that they were Sudanese.
He noted that the investigations did not show the true owner of the vehicle because it changed ownership several times in recent times.
Lt. Gen. Tohamy told Radio Dabanga that technical teams are still carrying out investigations on the weapons used. He admitted failure in determining the direction to which the plane departed.
