Passengers robbed in North Darfur
A group of militiamen ambushed a commercial vehicle in North Darfur on Tuesday morning.
One of the passengers told Dabanga that “at about 10 am, government-backed militiamen attacked the vehicle that was on its way from Tawila to El Fasher, capital of North Darfur.
“They beat and whipped us, before stripping us of all our money, mobile phones, and luggage. Some of the passengers sustained injuries. They then left, taking the vehicle, owned by Siddig Abdallah Mukhtar, with them.”
