Outbreak of measles in Buram, South Darfur
The citizens of Buram locality in South Darfur complain about of the outbreak of measles. A mother of an infected child told Radio Dabanga that the disease appeared three months ago. “But the last couple of days measles spread intensively among people of all ages, especially children.” The symptoms, she said, are an itching rash and high fever. The majority of the people are using traditional medicines for treatment. The mother appealed to the authorities to intervene and contain the spread of the disease.
