One dead, 13 injured in tribal fighting near Sudan’s capital
A man was killed and at least 13 others were injured in tribal clashes in the area of Fattasha, west of Omdurman on Monday and Tuesday.
The fighting between Hawaweer and Jamou’iya tribesmen was triggered by a conflict over farmland on Monday, according to a listener in western Omdurman.
He told Radio Dabanga that one man was killed and more than ten others injured. “After a very short period of calm, fighting erupted again on Tuesday and three tribesmen were wounded.”
