Shumu Mukhtar Bosh, the brother of Omda Musa Mukhtar Bosh, is one of the people abducted in Donki Ba'ashim on Sunday. Radio Dabanga reported yesterday that seven people, including three children, were abducted by militiamen during an attack.
Bosh, a native administrative leader, told Radio Dabanga that his brother is a cattle dealer. “They have taken him to Gubba and have stolen 100 sheep from him. He was on his way to El Fasher when the Border Guards kidnapped him.”
The Omda appealed to the leaders of the paramilitary force to release his brother immediately.
In a separate incident, two women were abducted in Tabit, Tawila locality, on Tuesday afternoon. A relative of one of the victims told Radio Dabanga that four militiamen riding camels attacked Shadia Harun Abdallah (25) and Hawa Ibrahim Adam (35) as they were on their way back from farming in Tabit.
They took them at gunpoint in a western direction.
