An 18-year-old woman has been raped after four militiamen accosted a group of villagers in North Darfur on Thursday morning.
An 18-year-old woman has been raped after four militiamen accosted a group of villagers in North Darfur on Thursday morning.
Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that four militiamen riding camels intercepted a group of three women near the village of Kaja, 30 kilometres north of Shangil Tobaya in North Darfur.
The men seized the 18-year-old victim and raped her. No details are known as to the condition or injuries to the other women. The victim was transferred to Kaja village where she is receiving traditional healing.
