No electricity, health care in El Nahud, West Kordofan
The residents of El Nahud, West Kordofan, complain of continuous power outages, poor health services, and a bad infrastructure.
“We have been living in the dark for more than two months now,” Salem El Safi Hijeir, the former head of the National Parliament’s Economic Committee, told Radio Dabanga on Sunday.
He said that he will send questions to the Minister of Health on the delayed opening of El Nahud Hospital for more than two years, to the Minister of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity on the stalling of the town’s two power generators, and to the Minister of Transport and Roads for not asphalting 22 kilometres of the locality.
