Newly displaced Misseriya civilians in poor conditions
A representative of people staying at the displaced camp in Kubum in South Darfur complained of lack of food and humanitarian aid. Mohamed Yusef Al ‘Alim, one of the leaders of the Misseriya tribe, told Radio Dabanga that about six hundred families are living in difficult humanitarian conditions due to lack of food and their only shelter is under the trees. The Misseriya refugees had come earlier this month from Mukjar Locality in neighboring West Darfur State, specifically from a group of villages including Nyamatala. They were fleeing from fighters of the Nuwayba Rizeigat tribe.
